LearnLivy offers both online and in-person tutoring. Online sessions are available to students anywhere in the United States. In-person availability depends on your location — contact us to check availability in your area.
Every LearnLivy tutor goes through a rigorous screening process including subject-matter evaluation, background checks, and a teaching demonstration. We only work with tutors who demonstrate both academic expertise and the ability to genuinely connect with students.
The first session is a discovery session. Your tutor will get to know your student, assess their current level, identify specific challenges, and begin building a personalized learning plan. It's low-pressure and focused on building rapport.
Standard sessions are 60 minutes, though we offer 90-minute sessions for more intensive subjects like test prep. Session length can be adjusted based on your student's needs and schedule.
